WHAT DOES THE PURPLE COW NAME MEAN?

The Purple Cow Reads was given the name from the poem by Gelett Burgess. This poem addresses that differences are good! Often times, children can feel frustrated about their reading & spelling deficient. Some children's self-esteem may suffer because they may feel behind "different" than their emerging peers. The Purple Cow Reads embraces every difference, makes the differences positive, highlights that it is better to be a purple cow than be just like everyone else. This is what makes you special!
